Hi guys,

Question

What would make my Trust AMI 2505 Optical Mouse pointer randomly fly off to on of the corners of my screen?

my mouse does that sometimes, its to do with the different colours on my mouse mat

Yup, it's often the surface that does it Shiny things don't seem to work too well.

You know what, I had just changed my mouse mat at about the time it started happening!

I'll give old faithful another chance, and see if it happens again.

I got a QPAD gaming mat a while ago, didn't bother changing/putting on the feet that came with it. A week later after some good use the feet on my Logitech G7 had left a couple of shiny marks on the mat.

If i leave the mouse on the mat and the laser is looking at the shiny bit it stops the mouse turning off and that stops the screensaver from coming on.....so i have to put the mouse on an unspoilt part of the mat.....


Damm fine mouse mat other than that. Got it from Kustom PC
