My PC suddenly crashes and generates several types on error on several
occasions which are as follows:

1. Most of the time it does not boot again immediately or within 10
minutes after crash and after one hour or so it is boots again
normally.

2.Whenever it does boot again normally my winxp flashes a windows
saying "Your system has recovered from a serious error"

3.Sometimes after an hour or so after the system crashes it tries to
boot again and then it calculates the NVRAM and then flashes a message
that CMOS settings error ".Press F1 to enter SETUP" "Press F2 to load
optimal settings and continue.

whenver i change the CMOS settings and exit it does not proceed furter
but hangs and also by pressing F2.

Now tell me whether it is a hardware error or a software error or a
BIOS needed upgradation.

Plese be elaborate.

Thnks

Your BIOS is fairly old and you need more RAM. You should contact AMD for
the latest BIOS for your motherboard, and you might think about a new and
faster CPU that your motherboard will support. And be sure you're running
ChkDisk and Defrag at least once a week.
