that is a big question to be answered in brief. You will have to do a bit of troubleshooting yourself.
first identify when does ur pc freeze. Does it do that when u do certain actions. noting that down can help u identfiy the corrupt program.
Or else the reason could be a failed video display adapter driver. Do you know how to reinstall the display adapter drivers. Go to device manager and uninstall the driver next to display adapters. then reboot the computer when prompted and then when the computer reboots install the drivers from the driver cd. then this should install the drivers afresh and you can check if the problem still persists.
