Freezing up and shutting down

Hi,
I've been having problems with freezing up and computer will shut down and
come up with a warning screen that it had shut windows down to protect it
from harm. I never have time to write it down, but, it says something about
"Kernel and data" . It has done this about 10 times in the last 3 days. thanks

At a guess, it was Stop 0x0000007A or KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. The only
one I can think of that has both kernel and data in... :)

To sort that, I'd run check disk on the drive. from a command prompt
(start>run>cmd) enter "chkdsk c: /r" without the quotes. It may ask you
if you want to do it at reboot, hit y then enter. Reboot, let the
process complete, and see how it goes.

It could be an ad ware or virus trying to get into yer comp. It's hiding
within your programs and the's why it keeps appearing. Run your Webroot
spysweeper to see if it can detect it and remove it?
once it's gone things may return to normal/
