Freezing of client while attempting to print

F. Frey

I have a client that connects to my W2K TS through a
Citrix connection. Everytime they attempt to print
nothing prints and the client freezes. The only way to
get back to work is to reboot it, then I have to clear the
spooler of the failed document. I have tried to reinstall
the drivers on the TS for the printer, and I suppose
everything went well, no errors or anything, but the
client still freezes, and nothing prints.

Any help is greaty appreciated

These kind of problems occur quite often when you install 3th
party printer drivers on a Terminal Server, since most of them are
not TS-compatible.
To avoid this, uninstall the printer driver and map the printer to
a native driver. You could loose some of the features of the
printer, but you will get much better stability of your TS.
