Freezes when i get new emails

When ever i recieve a new email i get outlook locks up.. As soon as i click
on the new email everything locks up on outlook. I have everthing up to date.
Just reinstaled everything from scratch and downloaded all updates. Cant
figure out why this is happening.
 
First what version of outlook are you using?
Generally issues like that are solved by working offline.
