FP2007 - Issue - Opening PDF in Internet Explorer

hi,

I built a XPe pro emulation image. I insalled the Adobe Acrobat reader
6.0.1. When i opening the pdf link in the Internet explorer 6.0 ,It neighter
opened the file in Adobe nor in the Internet explorer. It showed the status
as Done in the Internet Explorer.

I try to Open the PDF file using File->Open in the Internet Explorer. It
didnot Open the PDF file.

The Image was built using XP embedded studio SP2 FP2007.

Can any one help me to resolve this issue.

Hi KSMH,

I'm not sure what's wrong with your image. My XPE use Adobe Acrobat Reader
v7.0.8 and there's no problem to open PDF file. Maybe you can try to install
this version.

But i installed the Acrobat reader 5.0 for size consideration.
Acrobat reader 6.0 also did not working. But Acrobat reader 7.0 is working
fine.
I need to use Acrobat reader 5.0. I expect someone help.

Have you considered using Foxit Reader?

Finally i found that, The Add-On for the Acrobat Reader AcroIEToolbarHelper
Class was not added automaticaly.

Can anyone help me to add it manually.

The Add-on for the J2RE VERSION 1.4.2_X was also not found in the Internet
Explorer Add-on. The same is working for the image built using XPe SP2.
