FP 2002 - XP & SP2 - PayPal

Hello,

It was recommended that I seek assistance from a discussion group for my
problem.

I am trying to insert PayPal code into the HTML on my FP 2002 web and it
conistently returns an error and crashes FP. I was told it may be the XP
and Service Pack 2 that is not allowing the insertion to work.

Is there anyone out there that can explain why this doesn't work? It worked
fine with Office98 and FP98..... now, with the newer versions, I can't get it
to work.

Have you updated MS OFfice (i.e. Frontpage) with Service Pack 1? (Not the
Windows O/S SP's; I mean the MS Office service pack/s & Updates).

"Returns an error and crashes" What is the *exact* error?

No. I have only done the O/S update - at least that's what I think. I just
update whenever MS tells me to... how's that for illiterate. Anyway...the
Error is not a code or anything... it just says "Microsoft has encountered an
error and must close...."

In the meantime, I will look into the O/S update. Any other ideas?

I tried and tried and can't get SP1 or SP3 to download. Should I be calling
in the Geek Squad... I certainly feel like the woman in the commercial who
just wants to scream at the top of her lungs!!

Is it crashing the browser (Internet Explorer) or Front Page? The browser would make more
sense to me. Can you share the offending code, or point to where it came from?
