why is FP changing my HTML?

G

Guest

I simply wanted to paste a title tag and metatags for descritption and
keywords into my FP 2002 web page. So after pasting them into my FP 2002 web
page, FP 2002 added to and changed my HTML I had pasted into the web page.

For example, I wanted to paste <metaname="description" . . . But FP 2002
changed it to <p class=MsoNormal><metaname="description"

How can i prevent FP from changing html I paste into a web page?
Also, this same thing happened when I wanted to paste some PayPal code for a
BuyNow button into my page but FP changed the HTMl; so it wouldn' work.

Thanks,
Ryan

Insert it via HTML View, like:

<meta name="description" content="your text goes here">

FrontPage Resources, WebCircle, MS KB Quick Links, etc.

And make sure you are pasting it in the HEAD section

PS
The <p class=MsoNormal> indicates you are pasting from MS Word
- always paste to Notepad from Word to eliminate all MSO coding
