forward meeting requests

Hi

I'm trying to forward or redirect meeting requests from a specific person to
another person then delete that meeting request from my inbox but for some
reason it won't work. It won't forward the request or delete it. Is this
because its a meeting request? The request is coming from "Person One" on
behalf of "Person Two's calendar".

Any help would be appreciated.

You could try making a new email to the person and use Insert Item to put
the meeting request into it.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we
can find information on it.

Hi Judy

Thanks for the reply but I don't think its going to do what I want. I need
it to automatically send so the owner of the inbox doesn't actually see the
invite, only the accepted or tentative meeting in outlook.

I've been able to get a rule to auto forward the invite, but if "Person Two"
accepts the invite, it doesn't show up in the "Person One"s Calendar (

Cheers

From your description there could be up to 5 people involved - I need a
clearer description to help you.

Ok - Here's the story. Some of the assistants here are delegates on their
bosses inboxes, some aren't.

Joe wants to send an appointment that is on behalf of another
mailbox/calendar (so - Joe Bloggs on behalf of Big Meeting Calendar). He
sends it to a DL, but doesn't want them to have to deal with the
acceptance/decline etc of the request, but to automatically send a copy to
their assistants and they accept it in the DL person calendar on their
behalf.

So... Joe sends the email to Sarah, but Sarah's assitant, Bob needs to get
the invite to accept it in Sarah's calendar.

I've tried various rules but can't get this to work. I don't even know if it
will but have to try. I can get the invites to auto forward and delete from
Sarah's inbox, but I can't get Bob's acceptance to come up in Sarah's
calendar.

Thanks!

Outlook expects you to make Bob a Delegate in Sarah's Mailbox. Do you have
Exchange server software running?

Hi Judy

Yes we do operate from an Exchange Server. Some people are delegates, some
are not.
