Formatting

Somehow some text was lost on a word document when we were using track
changes. The text literally disappeared. We went back to the previous section
and hit a return to where the text should have been and the missing text
reappeared. Is there a function that we can use to make certain that we are
not missing text within key documents? Is this a formatting problem and or a
track changes problem?

You could automatically save versions each time you save the document so that
you can revert to an earlier one in the event of a catastrophic fat finger
event.

Click FILE and select VERSIONS and check off the Automatically save a
version on close check box

Track changes adds complexity to documents. Sometimes the screen doesn't
update immediately. Are you sure it was missing? Did you try printing it or

Versions is a dangerous feature and should not be used. Instead, create
backups.
