Track Changes and Change Case

I am helping a coworker edit a document that has Track Changes turned on. We
both just noticed that the Track Changes tool does not recognize the use of
the Change Case tool as a change in the document. We can highlight any
portion of the text and go to Format/Change Case and change the case to
whatever we want without a notice that the format has changed appearing.

Does anyone know why track changes does not seem to register the change, and
is there anyway to correct this?

A way to "correct" it is to select the letter and type the opposite
case ...
