Format unit price field in opportunity manager

I need to add decimal space beyond the default 2 places...how do I do that?
 
A way to do this might be via the Control Panel (Regional and Language
Options...Change number format). However, this method might change the
default decimal places for all windows programs. For instance, Office
Accounting will also default to that same number of decimals.
