Form problem

khaymon

I've upgraded to FP 03 and now have a problem with new
forms. Get:

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log
for more details.

Any ideas on the cause? My old forms work, however if I
do a save as and edit to make a new form, I get the error
also.

Thanks for your help!

Have you contacted the host to have them check the log file for the error?

My network administrator found the following:

1) OS Error Message #13 "Permission Denied".
2) Error#20002: Cannot open file form_result.csv for
writing. (This error occurs at the same time as the first
one.)

Ok, the permissions are not set correctly on the _private folder or the file is not being saved in
the _private folder which by default has write permissions.

Should I check "allow anonymous upload" on the folder
properties, or is this something that will have to be
changed on the server itself?

To use the FP Form Upload component...

1. You must be publish to a Windows IIS Server that has the FP2002 extensions.
2. The host must allow you to use this functions.

The extensions are required to use any of the FP run-time components, such as Forms and the site
must be published to the server via FP's http mode.

We had to uninstall the FP 02 extensions because once we install the FP 02 extensions, there isn't
a place to set manual authentications for access to the website...we aren't able to edit the
website. Is there a work around for this?
