Form help?

Hi, This has been bugging me.

I have a document template. THe format of the first page is strict and
designed to be a form with a few text boxes, combo boxes, and checkboxes.
This formating has to be set in terms of both layout and content as data from
it is being extracted to another application downstream. I set up this 1st
page as a form with a section break after it. I can protect the form and it
behaves like I want it to.

However the rest of the document (anything after page 1) needs to be freely
editable as it is a technical document with figures, images, tables,
footnotes, etc. The trouble comes when I try to protect just the first
section with teh form, it prohibits many formating functions for the second
section also.

Is there a way to protect just the first section of a document and still
allow full editing of the rest of the document(insert text boxes/images,
insert footnotes, change formating, etc)?

Thank you in advance, Scott

You've discovered one of the (many) limitations of online forms. For more
about online forms, follow the links at

Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
