forgotten XP Home Password

I had problem with my registry do i ran the recovery console and now i cannot
remember my passwords. someone told me to install xp again so i did that on
the same partition but a different folder. Is there any way I can use my new
windows (XP Pro) to recover/delete the passwords for my old windows (XP home)
installation. I need to do this because there are a lot of files on the old
desktop that I require urgently.
 
Perhaps, the worst to have done is to install two XP in the same partition... To recover something in Home it is enough to restart in Safe Mode and login in the account named "Adminsitrator" which usually has no password. There you can go to Control Panel and create a new administrator account on which you may recover what you want.
