forgotten admin password

I recently moved and had to store my computer for several
weeks. I cannot remember my admin password...HELP! Is
there a way I can change or reset the password, or do I
have to start a new user account and lose access to some
of my info? Thanks for any input.

Winternals makes a Utility called ERD Commander which has
an application called Locksmith that will allow you to
boot up and change your local admin passwords.
