forgot password win 2000

My son created a username and password. Now when windows
boots up his username pops up and then it asks him to
enter his password. Well, he forgot it. What can I do
to remove this password so that I can pull up my files?

Your saying you have two accounts on the pc.
Yours and the one your son created, correct??

if so, then do this, use the tab key to tab until the
username is highlighted, type in your username hit tab
type in your password, TA DA!
