Force Plain Text Format on Replies

Can I force the format of replies to messages to be, say, plain text (even
if the message may be in HTML format)? I would appreciate learning how to
do that.

Tools, options, mail format, Format, Fonts, set up each one and at the bottom
check Always use my fonts.
