I have 2 quad core proccessors and 4GB Ram. so I don't think it's lack of
memory as suggested.
Any extra help accepted.

You appear to be using incorrect port settings?

If I am not mistaken, you should enter your full sky email address as the
username?

how can i find the correct server/ I don't think IMAP is the proper server.

Your computer can't connect until you enter the proper server names and
settings.
Your email account provider has that info.
Who provides your email account?
