I'm trying to setup my Mindows Mail with my Army knowledge Online mail and
once it was setup it told me that there was an error and maybe I didn't have
enough memory, but this is a brand new, pulled it out of the package today
computer, it's probably not full. But it also said something about a
certificate error this is the second message I can't get the other to pop up
anymore

I also had the same error. I fixed it by unchecking the "Logon using Secure
Password Authentication (SPA)" box under logon information settings.

Unchecking the "Logon using Secure Password Authentication" also worked for
me with the Army Knowledge Online server.

Thanks, Tcheukraki.

Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - servers

But you should use the settings as required by YOUR email provider, not
those of someone else's.

I am trying to send out an Email and this error message keeps popping up. the
host 'pop3' could not be found. please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly. account: 'pop3', server: 'pop3', protocol: smtp, port:
25, secure(ssl): no, socket error, error number 0x800ccc0d. I need someone to
show me how setup my account, so that I may send out Emails

You have entered an incorrect name for the mail server.
Each ISP or mail provider has their own mail servers, so that is
where you go to get the correct mail server names.
Do you have an existing email address? If so, the part after the
@ symbol tells you who the provider is, and they should have a
web page that explains how to set up your email program. If you
need help with looking up the mail account settings, get back
to us with the name of your mail provider.

R

Richard Pierce

If you want to experiment, try using "pop3.<the part about the @ symbol>" as
your incoming POP3 mail server- that's a common naming scheme.

I am trying to set up the IMAP for sending and receiving emails from Windows
Mail to my exchange server from external

I can send emails no problems but im having issues receiving them
Im assuming that i have in incomming server incorrect.

Does anyone know where i can check to make sure that im using the correct

Our setup is one exchange front end server and 2 back end servers, IMAP is
installed and configured on all servers.

We use Outlook Web Access over HTTPS also so not sure what the name for the
server would be

thanks for any hints given
