I cannot seem to sent emails from outlook - Imap error says it

IMAP is not the correct/complete server name.
Who is the mail provider, the part of your email address beyond the @ ?
If you are really using Outlook, then you are in the wrong newsgroup, this
one is for Windows Mail in Vista.

I'm having big problems too with aol on windows mail. Have gone through all
posts here and re installed as per aol's instructions but still cannot send
mail. error message is:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account:
'imap.uk.aol.com', Server: 'smtp.uk.aol.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I am using spyware doctor (have used avast and norton, but had same problem)

Please help, i'm going mad!! :)

Tools>accounts>select your account>properties>Advanced tab, change SMTP Port
number from 25 to 587>apply>OK
