For cooling, which is better - open case or sealed case with fans?

wasn't acceptible. You have changed the topic subject-line
which is also unacceptible, writing "net-cops", as if you
actually need a real police officer to come to your door and
tell you not to do it. Is this really how uncivil you are,
needing legislation to cause a change in your habits unlike
most people on usenet?

I disagree with your claim that altering subjects is unacceptable.
It is not necessary for threading, which is accurately performed
through the referances header. It is necessary for easy selection
by the receiver.

Yes! I know why.

By the way - If one replies to an inter-post, one might consider
not using inter-posting a second (or third) time lest it become
one big mess. But please yourself. It's hard to change old habits

You should also consider limiting your line length to an acceptable
72 (67 is better) chars.

There is no reason to worry about "multi-inter-posting" if you
simply follow normal protocol and properly snip quoted material
unconnected with your reply.

If I'm so unacceptible [sic], they why are you still reading my messages?

It's interesting also that I was targeted for all this hate and discontent
even though I merely responded to a post that ALREADY had a top-posted
response...

I don't think you have gotten any hate mail, although you have
received expressions of discontent with users who ignore normal
Usenet protocol (i.e. no top-posting).

AFAIAC the way to deal with top-posting is (your choice):
a: ignore it, meaning the message.
b: repair it and carry on. Possibly advise the miscreant.
c: delete everything misquoted and advise the miscreant.

Speaking of 'one big mess' - your posts look absolutely appalling due to
your line wrap being set at 119 characters, instead of the usual 72/80.

Anyway,

A: People don't know what you're talking about, or who you're
responding to.

Q: Why is top-posting a bad idea?

HTH.

They do if the subject line is appropriate.

Maybe they don't care. if they do, they merely need to scroll 3 lines below
the end of the reply.
