fonts change when copying from another file

When either inserting or copying & pasting from another Word document, at
times either the fonts change size, type, go from normal to italic or to
bold, or the paragraph spacing changes. Can anyone pls help, this is very
frustrating!!

You dont say if the text your pasting changes to your format or vice versa,
but it sounds like you are copying formatting and pasting it into your
document. To prevent that, don't copy the paragraph symbol where all
formatting and styles are stored. Or you could simply click on Edit | Past
Special | Unformatted text. I hope this has been helpful to you.
