Fonts are weird looking - Newly installed XP

Hi,
I just installed XP profesional on my IBM thinkpad (about
4 year old) and all my fonts look a little off. Do i need
to install a driver or something for my monitor?

Did you install XP drivers for the video and other hardware in your
laptop? Check on the mftr.'s site for updated drivers and/or for a
listing of the hardware in your laptop.
