Migrating data from Mac to Windows XP Laptop

At home I have a new (4 months old) MacBook laptop with OS X on it. For work,
I have just gotten an IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T60 running with Windows XP. The
data on my Mac is mostly migrated from an older IBM laptop, so they should be
Windows compatible. I'd like to migrate all my data files from my Mac to my
new XP laptop. Can anyone tell me the best (or better still, *easiest*) way
to migrate data from a Mac to a Windows XP laptop?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

A USB Flash ( or Thumb ) drive is easiest, provided the amount of data
will fit. 1-2 Gigabyte Flash drives are very inexpensive.
