font changes on first line in reply to email that has stationery

I have no stationery and just the default "aerial 10" font set for replies.
Using the latest Office Outlook 2003.

When replying to an email message that has stationery and a Times Roman
black font when I hit reply I still get the original stationery and on the
first line of the reply I always get their black Times Roman font. The
second line of the reply goes to the default blue Aerial font. Is there a
way of stoping this and getting the font (and lack of stationery) I've asked
for. This didn't seem to be a problem with Outlook 2000.

thanks

Do you have "Always use my font" selected?

Yes I have that set. I also tried it with just setting "Use my font when
replying and forwarding messages.

I did some further investigation and it seems to be only picking up the font
on the first character on the first line. If I start my reply with a <TAB>
then I don't get the problem.

I'm going to play around with different combinations of stationery and fonts
- I think the problem is in there somewhere.
