Folders View Setting Problem

I am having a problem that is bugging me. I set all the
views to each folder. Ex: Some that have pictures I set
them to "thumbnail view"

It keeps resetting the views that I selected. I went
into "Folder Options" and checked the box that says
remember each folder's view setting. It still resets each
time I restart my computer. It is driving me nuts and I
really don't want to reinstall WindowsXP and go through
all the hassle for this simple problem.

Hi Chris,

WindowsXP will remember the settings of up to 400 folders, after that it
starts forgetting some. See this from MVP Kelly for a way to increase this
number:

Line 2, increase the folder view size limit to 8000
