folders from att yahoo client to windows email

I've been using sbcglobal for years. I have recently bought a new computer
with Windows Vista and am now using windows email.
I get all off my new emails in the client fine, but how do I transfer all of
my other folders with saved emails in them?
Is this possible without having to transfer the all to the inbox in the old
client?

Any help would be greatly apprciated. =]

What email program were you using on the old machine? If it was
Outlook or Outlook Express, there's a way to do it.

In your Yahoo webmail, move emails from a folder to the Inbox,
then download those with Windows Mail. Do this one folder at a
time, so you don't get them mixed up.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I have thousands of emails to transfer.
Thanks for the help. =]

Good luck. Webmail and POP mail are basically not compatible. :-(
