Got an email from Bellsouth/AT&T that they were migrating to a new Yahoo/ATT
system...followed instructions and now neither my Bellsouth.net mail isn't
coming into my Windows Mail... I have to check it via web. What's worse is
that this effected my default Windows Mail - from satx.rr.com - that doesn't
work eiher...can't even access it via webmail. WTF?

Contact your ISP again for the correct settings.

Are you also a Time/Warner RoadRunner subscriber?

Yes I am a TW customer. I am using TW broadand. That's what I don't get. How
my TW service got effected at same time. They say my email address was
"blocked" and should be re-set within 6 hours. ATT adjusted the pop and smpt
and says it must be a problem with TW. Don;t know how one relates to the
other but the fact is I lost both at same time on Friday. Still accessing
only via webmail. But whatI SEND from Windows Mail is going thru getting out.

I saw a message on this saying it takes hours at their end to complete their
part of the changeover for your account before you can use an email program
to access your email again.

Also, did you follow the part of the instructions for changing the server
names
at your end?

Do you get an error message when you try to receive? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

You posted the same information in the thread "Can't send email".
Once is enough.
For those that missed it, my comment was:
Besides changing the server names, there are other settings
that need changing, such as the port number and SSL option.

It's always best to go with published information rather than hearsay.
