folders don't refresh

I've got a computer in our office that doesn't refresh
it's folders when pasting, creating, renaming, etc. I've
read the KB article 823291 and it sound similar to what
the problem here. Is that patch available elsewhere to
download or do I have to try and get someone at MS to send
it to me?

Or does anyone have a suggestion on a different path to
take to resolve this?

I have the same issue as Joe. My OEM version of Win XP keeps me from using a free MS support option. Is the "hot fix" available as a download? Thank you. -B
