Folder Re opens at startup

I have recently updated my graphics driver (ATI Radeon 9700) and ever since,
when I login to windows the "C:\Program Files\ATI" folder is open and
displayed. I have searched the Microsoft Knowledge Base and have found a
reference to the same thing happening with the System 32 folder but none of
the fixes that are suggested for that apply or work in this case. I am using
Windows XP, Service Pack 2 and all Critical and Recommended updates are
applied. Thanks for taking the time to read this and any help anyone can
offer will be greatly appreciated.

Start>Execute and type "msconfig" without quotes. Has you any reference to this folder on "Stat" tab? If so, uncheck it.

Thanks for the quick response Jose.

In Msconfig, Startup tab i found a process called atiptaxx. Removing this
cured the problem and according to Google it is so you can access your ATI
display settings from the system tray and can be removed safely.
