Folder Properties

I am trying to secure some of the folders on my PC and
when I rght click on the folder I want to encrypt and
select properties nothing happens, I get no folder
information,,,, nothing.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thank you for getting back to me, is there a tech net
article or other document available concerning this issue?

am trying your suggestion but the computer management
hangs when I select Services and Applications.

I will keep on trying, also can the service pack be
removed to resolve this issue?
