Flight sim 98 and XP (are they compatable)

I have tried to run FS98 with windows XP pro. and all I
get is error messages in the beginnings of playing the
game. I am running NVIDA GF MX 440. Is there a way of
running this program with XP? I have tried driver updates,
directX 9 is installed so I don't know what else to do.
