Flash player never works

I cannot get flash to work in IE7. I have had this problem before and I think
I uninstalled it cvompletely and reinstalled it but I cannot find it listed.
I go to websites and they say you need flash so I go there and download it
and when it restarts IE it says you need flash

WTF???

Yes this is a known problem

go here http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

and download the UNINSTALLER,
run it.. and then do a restart of the PC

then download the INSTALLER on that same page
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

and install it again..

it will work this time
