Flag Hotmail

I read the Post that this wasn't possible BUT I did it until yesterday. I
was following a suggestion for another problem...uninstall Outlook
Connector.. Delete email account...re-add email...reinstall connector. NOW I
can not flag my emails (hotmail) but I could? Any ideas how to fix this. I
did notice that hotmail is set up as HTTP and it was setup as IMAP. I have
no clue what the difference is.
Thanks in advance for nay help.
Happy Holidays,
Peace!

Well I figured it out myself!! When I set up hotmail I set it up as "hotmail"
but what I really needed to do was Select "iother" and then "Microsoft Office
Outlook Connector" and then setup my hotmail there. Apparently the new
Connector is a bit different from the old one. GOT MY FLAGS BACK!! Yeh!!!!

The protocol used for connection. AFAIK, Hotmail never used IMAP. Once, a
long time ago; and again, more recently, POP3, but not IMAP. You have to
have a paid Windows Live Hotmail Plus account for the new POP3 servers; or a
very old (ca. 1999), grandfathered MSN Hotmail account.
