fixing start menu

In the start menu, there is an option called "new office document". This
option was disabled i dont know why or how.
Can you help me and tell me how I can activate it back like before?
I used to choose it then "template" box apear and then i choose a "Blank
Document".

Any suggestions?
 
Do you have MS office installed and if so was it a 60 trial version?
If you do have it installed, just right click anywhere on desktop or in
folder and select new word document, there should be all your templates there
as well.
