Trying to use program for 1st time...have a Sony DCR-TRV25 camera...captured
the video OK in MovieMaker on my Dell 5100 Media Version but have no audio.
What am I doing wrong ? Looks like several audio setting options...mic, what
I hear, etc. - using wrong setting ? Thanks for any help.

Try using your FireWire connection to download.

OK...installed firewire card...tried to start Movie Maker...all OK for about
90 seconds and then video capture stopped. Now when camera is turned on and
connected by FW cable I get message "no capture source recognized".

Did the 90 seconds of video have sound?

Hard to solve in a newsgroup message
but I would wonder if you have hardware
issues. I think I would try reseating the
firewire card...or replacing it.

Good luck.
