Firewire vs. USB 2.0 ?

Is the quality of the video you import to your computer affected by using USB
2.0 vs. Firewire? Or is it just that when importing to computer Firewire is
faster, but the quality of the video remains the same no matter if you use
USB 2.0 or Firewire? Thank-you!!

The difference is that you get a perfect copy of the digital video (DV)
stored in your camcorder if you use FireWire. If you use USB 2.0
you will get a lower-resolution, lower-quality streaming version of
your video.

Always use FireWire for video capture.
