Firewall & Defender

Neither will download or turn on correctly. For firewall & defender, I get
"Could not start the Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)
Service on local computer. Error 1068: The dependency Service or group
failed to start." I tried to install Live OneCare and got "Windows Live
OneCare Error ID: 0019-80070643 components didn't install."

I keep running Ad-Aware to clean out the spyware and am so tired of doing so.

Do you have SP2 installed on this machine?.

My suggestion is to get another Firewall better
than the windows one to protect you from intruders and hackers like ZoneAlarn
from here:
