What plugins should I install to make Firefox as similar in appearance &
features to MyIE2? Has anyone tried that?

You mean extensions. You don't say what features exactly you miss, so it's
hard to advise but the following should help. As for appearances, I use the
qute theme in MyIE2, which is available also for firefox.

1)TBE - http://white.sakura.ne.jp/~piro/xul/_tabextensions.html.en

Change to one window mode. Gives you the undo close tab ability, tab
groups, move tabs, etc

2)All-in-one mouse gestures or just mouse gesture
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/marc.boullet/ext/extensions-en.html

Pass, if you don't use mouse gestures

3)Adblock http://adblock.mozdev.org/

Pass if you don't use the content filter in MyIE2. Popup blocking is
included in Firefox 0.9 by default and the current branch builds of Firefox
are even more similar.

4)Super drag and drop http://s87609139.onlinehome.us/7001.html

The fans generally like this one. Directional dragging is an option in the
dev builds for green browser fans.

These are the big 4 I think. There are others like Toolbar enhancements,
prefbuttons etc which add more buttons, checkboxes etc to the toolbar that
allow you to turn stuff on or off. And I like petite search tools for the
highlighting of search terms.

Which ones?

I was thinking that I'd like to have that feature in FF, then I've read this
your post... :)

Which ones?

The one I'm thinking about hightlights the search terms in the search bar
much like the one in google toolbar.
