Firefox problem

I'm having some problems with firefox. It doesn't seem to want to remember
passwords. Also, it won't remember urls that I have visited. Not even
within the past 10 minutes. I've checked all my settings and everything is
okay. Would upgrading to the newest version fix this problem?

9.2 is giving me much better results .

I just installed this. Hopefully this will solve the problem.
