Firefox 3 has anyone got it?

Hellooo, I was just wondering whether any of you have got FF3 yet? I was just having a browse and thought it sounded good, but it only came out of BETA on 17th so possibly not many folk have it yet?

I'm currently running FF 2.0.0.14, so was wondering whether to wait until it decides to offer an update? Or just download the new version all on my ownsome. If I did, is it likely to just install over the old one (as with previous updates?) Or would you recommend an uninstall of the old one... although I'm not keen to lose my bookmarks, which I have oodles of.

The other thing, is that I've read elsewhere, that some folk have been experiencing browser crashes with FF3, so wondering whether any of you have found that?

Oh I do, I do Your Barbarianship But sometimes I get interrupted, so end-up forgetting. Both of those look useful though

So, thank you both for speaking up in praise of FF - I'm a big fan too... but, did you install FF3 over the top of the previous version? Or ....?

EDIT: Just set up the Bookmarks add-on. It's really good.

My FF just keeps on updateing itself along with all my add-ons and my bookmarks update themselves aswell .I always do a quick full profile backup with FEBE before any updates as it only takes a few moments .

Mine normally just updates itself also. But so far, it hasn't done so for the latest version. I tried manually getting it to search for updates, but it just said there weren't any available (so it was fibbing, 'cos I was on the FF website at the time, looking at version 3 )

I think I'll get FEBE too, because in a newsletter I get, there are a lot of tweaks for FF, but they emphasize the need to back-up first.

using it right now - i miss my "safari-like" theme though - but i can still use the fission plugin for the loading bar. i love the new tagging/bookmarking system. makes surfing much much easier
