fire sharing on wireless network

I'm new to wireless and networking. I have Win XP Home on
my PC and a new Apple iBook with OS X 10.3. I have
installed a Linksys Wireless G broadband router. The
iBook wireless is receiving the Internet perfectly, but I
can't get the two computers to "see" each other for file
sharing. Neither seems to know that the other is there.

I set up the connection as follows:
Cable modem is connected by cable to router's "Internet"
in slot.
Router is connected by cable to PC's Ethernet adapter.
I followed the Linksys setup instructions, but got only
the Internet connection to the wireless iBook.

Any ideas for this newbie? Could it be so basic as
needing a WIRELESS adapter for the PC?

Thanks!

I am haveing the exact same problem, they don't see each

hope some one is nice enough to help, please

Evidently my problem was that Norton Internet Security
firewall(s) prevented the two machines from connecting.
Once I exempted the router-generated IP's from thr
firewall and restarted everything, we had a network.
