I'm new to wireless and networking. I have Win XP Home on
my PC and a new Apple iBook with OS X 10.3. I have
installed a Linksys Wireless G broadband router. The
iBook wireless is receiving the Internet perfectly, but I
can't get the two computers to "see" each other for file
sharing. Neither seems to know that the other is there.
I set up the connection as follows:
Cable modem is connected by cable to router's "Internet"
in slot.
Router is connected by cable to PC's Ethernet adapter.
I followed the Linksys setup instructions, but got only
the Internet connection to the wireless iBook.
Any ideas for this newbie? Could it be so basic as
needing a WIRELESS adapter for the PC?
Thanks!
