Find and Replace Chapters Problem

F

FrankB

I have to find a way to use Find and Replace CHAPTERS with their
corresponding chapter number
example:

CHAPTER 1 This is a writing about nothing in particular CHAPTER 2 This
is a writing about nothing in particular CHAPTER 3 This is a writing
about nothing in particular .....

I need to use Find and Replace to get a result of this:

Chapter 1
This is a writing about nothing in particular
Chapter 2
This is a writing about nothing in particular
Chapter 3
This is a writing about nothing in particular......

I use the Find Function----> CHAPTER [0-9]{1,2}
In the Replace box I put in ----> ^lChapter ^l^t (^l^t=returns and
tabs)
I dont know what to use as the wildcard to keep its corresponding
number
How can I get Word to Replace Chapter without losing its corresponding
number?
Can anybody help !

In the Find what control, use:

CHAPTER ([0-9]{1,})

and in the Replace with control use:

^pChapter \1^p^t

Hope this helps.
