fill-in field

I am creating a template with our company's header and would like to have a
fill-in field each time a user using the template, i would like it to prompt
the user to insert a fax number. Each time i tried to create the field, when
i open it up again no prompt appears. Also, how can i protected the header
prior to prompting the user to fill-in field? Microsoft97-2003document

If you create the Fill-In field in a template and a new document is created
based on the template, it will be triggered. See the Fill-In and Ask Field
tutorial at http://addbalance.com/word/download.htm.

However, you would probably be better served with AutoText for the user's
fax number and and AutoText field in the document. Put the AutoText in a
template stored in the user's Word startup folder and use different folders
for each user.
