Fill-in fields in footers

I have put fill-in fields in the body and footer of a template. After
filling all the fields in at the prompts, and hitting the print button, the
prompt boxes for the fields in the footer pop up again, all filled out.
After hitting either "OK" or "Cancel", the form will print. This is
confusing for some of our users. Is there any way to put the fields into the
footer without having them come up twice?

As far as I know, there is no way to prevent the FillIn field from
updating on print, if you put it inside a header (or footer). Instead,
put the field in a frame anchored to the first paragraph of the
document but positioned so that it appears to be inside the header.
This field will update when the document is created from the template,
but otherwise not--assuming that you clear the option to "Update
fields" on the Print tab of Tools | Options.

Note: To insert a frame, you can use the Insert frame button on the
Forms toolbar. By default, a frame has a border, which you can remove
via Format | Borders and Shading.
