Files and Settings Transfer Wizard: Installing clean Win XP on Win 2000 system

I've got a multiboot system with Win 2000 Pro.

If I do a clean install of Win XP into a separate logical drive, would I be
able to then use the Win XP files and settings transfer wizard to transfer
the settings of one of my Win 2000 partitions to the new Win XP on the same
PC?

I expect that I would install Win XP Pro, but would this also work for Win
XP Home?
