File synchronization

I have two desktop computers, one laptop and three hard drives in
plastic caddy carry-around cases. I have a very great need for
some means for keeping the files synchronized on all these hard
drives. Can someone suggest a program or utility that will scan
the files on each system and update the same files on the other
systems to the latest version of each file? I do this manually,
but it is a very tedious process, and I don't always keep up to
date with it.

I have ordered a Linksys wireless WAG54G and will have that set
up in a few days. It is on back-order, so it may take a while.
When I get this set up I want to synchronize all my files in all
computers, then keep them synchronized by some practical means.

If you create shares on each computer you can use the briefcase on each
computer to synchronize the files.

Your answer is possibly the answer to a question posted on the 18th.
Just not sure how to "create shares". Could you explain this further?
