File Sharing

I recently installed a Netgear wireless router to connect my desktop (wired) and IBM Thinkpad laptop (wireless) computers. Both use WinXP Pro V2.

Now I cannot share files. There was a brief period when I could see and share files in my shared folder, but now I can't even do this (although I can see the computers in Network Neighborhood). When I try to see the shared directories I get the following message:
______________________________________________________________________
"\\User1 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The remote server has been paused or is in the process of being started"
______________________________________________________________________
Our company's system administrator doesn't know what to do, although we've both tried everything we could think of...

Any suggestions?

Sounds like your permissions got reset. As I recall you have to turn off simple file sharing and then set the folder permissions to allow access. See the Microsoft web site. They have some good writeups on how to set file sharing.
